Peter Gierlach MPH, MBA
Peter Gierlach is a clinical research associate at PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He is currently working on a statewide evaluation exploring the impact of home visitation programs on child and maternal health outcomes, in particular their role in injury prevention. Additionally, Mr. Gierlach is coordinating an educational intervention to improve evidence-based prescription practices among health care providers caring for Medicaid-enrolled youth.
Mr. Gierlach received his Master of Public Health and Master of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University. While at Johns Hopkins, he served as a research assistant in the International Injury Research Unit working on the Bloomberg Initiative for Global Road Safety. He additionally interned in the Environmental & Social Determinants of Health department at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland working on housing guidelines that promoted health.
