Keven I Cabrera MD, MSHP
Keven Cabrera (he/him) is a faculty member at PolicyLab and an attending physician in the Division of Emergency Medicine at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He also serves as a faculty member at the Penn Medicine Center for Health Justice.
Dr. Cabrera is interested in environmental justice and community-centered research and aims to elevate the voices of minoritized communities to bring about environmental action, health justice, and policy change. His current work is focused on the health impacts of local greening initiatives within Philadelphia.
Dr. Cabrera studied biology at Vassar College, received his medical degree from the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and his Master’s in Health Policy Research (MSHP) at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
